### Contract manufacturing at the highest level

The furnace for the heat treatment of aluminium forgings for the automotive industry measures **33.5 × 5.3 × 6 metres** and weighs an impressive **105 tonnes**.

It is fitted with three transport levels, six pneumatically operated doors and around **68 metres of air ducts**, reaching temperatures of over **500 °C** during operation.


### Our contribution

The entire construction, from the housing and insulation to the piping, electrical and pneumatic systems, was carried out entirely at our factory. The system was then tested and programmed over a period of three weeks to ensure trouble-free commissioning at the customer's site.

### Manufacturing expertise at every stage

The furnace unit was dismantled into four parts for transport and delivered in a two-colour design. This meant that it was immediately ready for use in vehicle production.
